Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - PRN Nights - Rocky Mount, NC

PAM Health Rocky Mount Specialty in Rocky Mount, NC is hiring through JT Solutions: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) (PRN (as needed), nights).

Role: Responsibilities Under the direction of the RN on the unit, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Licensed Practical (LPN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. Provide direct patient care to medically complex and/or critically ill patients requiring extended hospitalization Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of medical professionals (Respiratory Therapists, Physical Therapists, Case Managers, Dietitians, Speech Language Pathologists, and more) to assist in carrying out individualized care plans Functions include gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients

Qualifications:
- Current unrestricted LPN License in the state you are applying
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS Certification
- Required within 90 days of hire (reimbursement provided).
- Experience:
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
- A few things that aren't required, but we would prefer:
- Having prior experience in emergency or critical care environments
- A higher comfort level working with vents/trachs/PICC lines, etc.
- Having 2 years of experience in direct patient care

Details:
- Schedule: PRN (as needed), nights
- Pay: $35/hour, paid weekly
- Start date: ASAP
- Current North Carolina LPN license required
